- Who Can Apply: Open to all contemporary artists globally, from emerging to established career stages, who are capable of working and living independently.
- The Focus: This program encourages artists to create a new body of work and engage with local and international artists. The residency is set in Zhujiajiao, a historic water town in Shanghai, offering a unique cultural environment for inspiration.
- The Funding: This is a fee-based residency with no stipend; artists are responsible for all personal, travel, and material costs.
- Key Requirements: Applicants must submit a portfolio, artist bio or statement, and a brief residency proposal via the online form or email.

Application notesApplications are accepted year-round via a form on the website or by email. Applicants must provide personal details, an artist bio/statement, a website or online portfolio, and a brief proposal for their residency project. International artists requiring a visa will be provided with an invitation letter. Artists are expected to be independent and handle their own production, installation, and de-installation for the end-of-residency exhibition. Artists must read and agree to the Terms and Conditions before applying.
