Individual Artist Fellowship (Region 7)

- Who Can Apply: Artists 18+ residing in Orange, Riverside, or San Bernardino counties, who have lived in California for at least two years.
- The Focus: This merit-based fellowship provides unrestricted funds to recognize and celebrate artists and culture bearers at key moments in their careers. The program aims to elevate their capacity for continued contribution to California's cultural landscape.
- The Funding: Provides unrestricted grants of $5,000 (Emerging), $10,000 (Established), or $50,000 (Legacy) with no application fee.
- Key Requirements: Requires an artist narrative, work samples (up to 10 files), and a resume/CV. Legacy tier applicants must also submit a letter of support.

Application notesApplicants must select one of three career tiers (Emerging, Established, or Legacy). The application requires an artist narrative, a resume/CV, and up to ten work samples (images, documents, audio, or video). Video and audio clips are limited to 3 minutes per clip. Legacy tier applicants must also provide one letter of support. Applications are submitted via Slideroom. Prior recipients may apply for a higher tier, but prior Legacy fellows are not eligible. Collectives may not apply.
