Lower Manhattan Cultural Council Creative Engagement Grant
Collectives eligible
- Who Can Apply: Individual artists aged 18+ (not enrolled in a full-time degree program), collectives applying through an individual, and nonprofit organizations, all with proof of residency or address in Manhattan.
- The Focus: Public-facing arts projects of any discipline (concerts, performances, public art, exhibitions, screenings, festivals, workshops, readings) presented in Manhattan between January and December 2027.
- The Funding: Request $1,000-$20,000; LMCC aims to fund as many projects as possible at the full request.
- Key Requirements: Submittable application starting with an eligibility quiz; narrative questions; one required sample of past work (second optional); project budget table of expenses and secured income including fees for all participating artists; proof of Manhattan address or residence (nonprofits also need NYS Charities Bureau registration and incorporation proof).
