Application notesApplications submitted via SlideRoom. Two application types available: one for U.S. residents and one for international artists requiring visa sponsorship. International artists applying for 2027 residency (beginning May 31, 2027) should use the visa application form. No pets allowed in studio buildings; dogs allowed on grounds on leash. No public transportation; car recommended. Extreme weather conditions; bring appropriate clothing. Residents expected to be self-motivated; program is minimally structured with no formal critiques. In 2026, The Bray celebrates its 75th anniversary; residents will be asked to volunteer at receptions, especially July 20-25.
