Call for Sculptors Request for Qualifications (RFQ)
Collectives eligible
- Who Can Apply: Professional sculptors residing in Los Angeles County are eligible to apply, individually or as a team.
- The Focus: To establish a prequalified roster of sculptors for future site-specific public art commissions throughout Los Angeles. Projects will include both temporary and permanent contemporary sculptures.
- Compensation: Commission budgets range from $50,000 to $300,000, covering all project costs. There is no application fee.
- Key Requirements: Applicants must submit a statement of interest, a resume/CV, and twelve images of completed artwork via SlideRoom.

Application notesApplications must be submitted online via SlideRoom. A complete application includes contact information, a statement of interest, a resume or CV, and 12 images of completed artwork. For each image, details such as title, year, dimensions, materials, and a brief description are required. For public art commissions, applicants must also include the client/commissioning agency, total budget, and location. Team applicants must provide a resume for the collective and for each individual member, and describe each member's role.
