Who Can Apply: To submit, you must either live, work, or attend school in Rancho Cordova, or be a current member of Rancho Cordova Arts (which runs $30/year if someone wants to join from outside the city to get access to their show cycles).
The Focus: This exhibition invites artists to abstract the essence of an object or scene, focusing on shapes, colors, and lines. The theme encourages artists to explore concepts like cubism and simplification to get out of their comfort zone.
The Funding: This exhibition offers non-monetary awards including Best of Show, 1st-3rd Place, and Honorable Mentions for adults and youth.
Key Requirements: Artists can submit up to three recent works. All wall-hung art must be properly wired and ready for hanging.

Application notesArtists may submit up to 3 recent works (within 4 years, not previously shown at City Hall). 2D works must not exceed 48"W x 60"H. 3D works must fit within a 16"W x 18"H x 8.5"D display case. All wall-hung art must be properly wired for hanging. Jurying is done via photos, which must be clear and represent the work accurately. Sold art must remain on-site for the duration of the show.
