- Who Can Apply: Open to artists with physical, cognitive, visual and hearing disabilities; work must have been created after the onset of disability and within the last five years.
- The Focus: Annual juried exhibition and sale celebrating artists with disabilities across painting, drawing, printmaking, watercolor, sculpture, jewelry, fine craft, mixed media, digital art, and photography.
- The Funding: Over $8,000 in prizes awarded; each accepted work eligible for up to $1,000. Artists receive 80% of sales proceeds.
- Key Requirements: All works must be for sale and original; no previously exhibited Art Ability work; submission limit 6 pieces; no dimension less than 12" or more than 48" including frame; weight limit 25 lbs; no nudes or dark subject matter.

Application notesSubmission via Artwork Archive online platform (free profile required). Mail-in option available by contacting artability@mlhs.org or 484.596.5607. Applicants may submit up to 6 works. All flat works on paper must be framed with Plexiglas (no glass). Canvas must be on sturdy stretcher bars. All wall art must be properly wired for hanging. Nudes and dark subject matter will not be accepted. Artists can request curator feedback before final submission by emailing images to artability@mlhs.org. Accepted artists' work shipped at Art Ability's expense or may be personally delivered by appointment.
