Western Trails Creative District 2026 Veterans Art Project (Ogallala, Nebraska)
- Who Can Apply: Open to artists; prior professional public art experience is not required, though partnering with a professional artist is recommended.
- The Focus: A site-specific sculpture or architectural veterans memorial in Ogallala, Nebraska, responding to the 'Bridge to Home' creative brief; a mural is not preferred.
- Compensation: US$50,000 all-inclusive commission/project budget (artist must include travel, materials, and liability insurance); up to two finalists receive a $1,000 design-proposal stipend.
- Key Requirements: Artist Application; portfolio with at least five examples of previous work; primitive/non-scale concept draft; written narrative covering creative concept, execution plan, and proposed materials; complete project budget; drafted copyright and usage rights agreement.
