Lize International Puppet Art Colony Artist-in-Residence 2027 (Taiwan)
Housing: Accommodation provided (private rooms in apartment-style housing near the Colony)
- Who Can Apply: Artists of any nationality aged 20+ (international artists must communicate in English or Mandarin): traditional or contemporary puppetry practitioners, or artists in other forms interested in incorporating puppetry; individuals or duos.
- The Focus: On-site residency in Lize, Yilan, for experimentation, exchange and new possibilities in contemporary puppetry and interdisciplinary practice (theme: COME PLAY +1).
- The Funding: All plans: accommodation, weekday lunches, studio space, airport transfers and reimbursed activity material fees; Plan B (two months) adds round-trip international airfare, an NT$10,000 creation fee and NT$10,000 materials fee.
- Key Requirements: Complete the online submission form with personal information and upload the required documents; choose Plan A-1, A-2 or B and fulfil its outreach, festival or presentation obligations.
