ACC Galerie Weimar 33rd International Studio Program 2027
Housing: Rent-free, furnished apartment on the ground floor of the Municipal Studio Building with internet.
- Who Can Apply: Open to artists from all over the world, of all nationalities and disciplines; no age restriction; students cannot apply.
- The Focus: Four-month on-site studio residency in Weimar to develop a project responding to the theme 'On Absence'.
- The Funding: €1,100 monthly stipend plus a rent-free furnished apartment with internet.
- Key Requirements: Email one landscape PDF (max 14 MB) containing project title; personal details (name, address, nationality, phone, date of birth); 50-word project outline; preferred and alternative residency period; 500-word project description; up to 10 images with title, size, technique/materials, date; up to 5 video/audio files (2 min each, 250 MB total) via Dropbox/Google Drive links; and a CV of max two pages.

Application notesApplications must be in English and submitted as one landscape PDF of max 14 MB by email. No confirmation of receipt is sent. Selected artists must live in Weimar during the work period to receive the stipend and must arrange their own German visa, especially for the first work period starting February 1, 2027. The first-choice juror gets the preferred work period; second and third choices may need to negotiate. Artists are expected to hold a talk at the ACC at the end of their stay.
