Application notesThe application process is multi-step and requires physical mail. Applicants must first mail a paper request form to the foundation. Upon approval, the foundation provides a unique login to an online portal. The final project proposal, budget, and work samples are submitted through this portal. Work samples should be concise (e.g., video/audio links up to 5 minutes). Full scripts, books, or films should not be uploaded. The foundation's genres rotate in two-year cycles, so applicants should verify their discipline is eligible for the current year. The 2026 cycles are for 'Fine Arts, Music, and Photography' (now closed) and 'Environmental Artistic Activism' (deadline April 30, 2026).
