LMCC UMEZ Arts Engagement Grant
- Who Can Apply: Artists (age 18+, not enrolled in a full-time degree program), collectives and nonprofit arts organizations based in Upper Manhattan (Community Districts 9-12: north of 98th Street east of Fifth Avenue, north of 110th Street west of Fifth Avenue)
- The Focus: Public-facing arts presentations and programming in Upper Manhattan, across performing, literary, media and visual arts
- The Funding: Requests of $1,000-$20,000; LMCC aims to fund as many projects as possible at the full request
- Key Requirements: Proof of residency or address in Upper Manhattan; project must take place in Upper Manhattan between January 1-December 31, 2027 and pay all participating artists; one required past-work sample (second optional); budget entered in the Submittable table; individuals need a fiscal sponsor (LMCC can serve)

Optional support: virtual info session (Sept 28, 2026, recording available), in-person Applicant Labs (Oct 13-21, 2026) and virtual office hours (Oct 27 - Nov 10, 2026).
