Who Can Apply: French and international visual artists of all ages and at any stage of their career are eligible to apply.
The Focus: The residency provides a framework for research and experimentation, fostering professional development through studio visits and networking. It offers a supportive environment for artists to develop their practice within a multidisciplinary cohort in Marseille.
The Funding: A residency fee of €1,000 EUR is provided, along with a production budget of up to €1,000 EUR.
Key Requirements: Applications require a portfolio, CV, and a note of intent outlining the residency project.

Application notesThe call for applications for the 2025 residency program is currently closed. The next call for applications for the 2026 program will be announced in the fall of 2024. Applications are submitted via an online form. Required documents include a portfolio of recent work (PDF, max 20 pages, 10 MB), a curriculum vitae (PDF, max 2 pages), and a note of intent describing the residency project (PDF, max 2 pages). For video works, applicants should include links in the portfolio. The selection is made by a jury of art world professionals based on the artistic quality of the work and the relevance of the proposed project for the residency.
