  • Who Can Apply: Open to national and international artists of all media, including writers and musicians. Individuals, couples, families, and collectives may apply.
  • The Focus: This residency offers artists a chance to create work inspired by the sacred volcanoes and dramatic landscapes of Hawai'i. The program encourages new breakthroughs in process and result within a unique, ever-changing environment of lava flows and rainforests.
  • The Funding: A $4,000 stipend and housing in a three-bedroom home are provided. Application fees start at $60 for single artists.
