  • Who Can Apply: Open to ceramic and visual artists worldwide, aged 20 or older, from aspiring to accomplished career stages.
  • The Focus: This self-directed residency allows artists to freely pursue their work in a stimulating, international creative environment. The program is located in Shigaraki, a historic center for Japanese ceramics.
  • The Funding: This is a fee-based residency. Artists are responsible for all studio, accommodation, material, travel, and living expenses.
  • Key Requirements: Applicants must submit a biography, artist statement, residency plan, and up to four images of past work online.
