  • Who Can Apply: Open exclusively to emerging ceramicists or visual artists residing in Japan, aged 20 or older.
  • The Focus: This partially-funded residency provides an opportunity for emerging artists to develop their practice at a renowned ceramics center. The program aims to support artists who will positively influence the resident community and local industry.
  • The Funding: Provides an honorarium of up to 200,000 JPY, a materials budget up to 100,000 JPY, and firing costs up to 110,000 JPY.
  • Key Requirements: Applicants submit a biography, statement, and residency plan. Selected artists are requested to donate an artwork to the institution.
