  • Who Can Apply: The closed call was open to Europe-based individual artists or duos in EU member states, eligible non-EU Creative Europe countries and European Neighbourhood Policy countries
  • The Focus: Interdisciplinary, process-driven new work responding to the climate emergency and its cultural, political and historical conditions, with particular interest in sound, video, performance and hybrid practices
  • The Funding: Fully funded accommodation and workspace; €3,800 total stipend; up to €400 travel support for each location; €7,000 combined production/presentation budget
  • Key Requirements: CV, portfolio of up to 5 works (10 pages and 10 MB maximum), project description up to 600 words, and a feasible production budget for presentations in both locations

Application notesThis call closed on August 17, 2025 and a resident was selected in 2025. The residency periods were scheduled for April–May 2026 at Rupert in Vilnius and November 2026 at Sonic Acts in Amsterdam, followed by presentations at Rupert in late 2026 or 2027 and at the Sonic Acts Biennial in early 2028. Retain only as an expired archival opportunity; do not publish as a current call.
