- Who Can Apply: Artists with skills in ceramics, weaving, maintenance, photography, graphic design, or carpentry who are comfortable with manual labor.
- The Focus: This program offers an immersive experience of life at A-Z West through a work exchange. Residents contribute to the site's upkeep while pursuing their own projects in a unique desert community.
- The Funding: This is a work-exchange residency; artists receive free lodging and studio space for 10-15 hours of work per week.
- Key Requirements: Applicants must have their own car for transportation and be comfortable with a rugged, indoor/outdoor living situation.
