- Who Can Apply: Artists of all disciplines and career stages with an interest in the program's ecological and de-colonial focus are welcome. Røst AiR works mainly by invitation, with a few open-call spots; artists travelling from abroad should stay at least one month (including the green journey).
- The Focus: This residency supports site-specific, process-based work exploring ecology, de-colonial thought, and geopolitics. It offers a communal living experience on a remote island in Northern Norway.
- The Funding: The residency provides a combined living/working space, food, a grant for green travel, and sometimes a materials stipend.
- Key Requirements: Applicants must submit a CV, biography, and an artistic proposal relating their work to the residency's environmental context via email.
