Who Can Apply: Emerging, mid-career, and established visual artists, writers, and collaborative teams of two are eligible to apply.
The Focus: This process-based residency encourages exploration and experimentation in an urban setting in Skopje, North Macedonia. The program emphasizes a communal, self-sustainable lifestyle, including participation in organic gardening and cultural exchange.
The Funding: This is a fee-based residency costing €450/month. The fee covers housing, studio, utilities, airport transport, and some meals.
Key Requirements: Applicants submit a completed form, a portfolio of up to 10 images or 4 videos, and a proposal.

Application notesApplications are submitted via email. Applicants must download and complete the specific application form for individual artists, writers, or collaborative groups. The submission package should include the completed form, a bio, CV/resume, and an image/video list as separate PDF documents. Visual artists can submit up to 10 JPEG images (under 1MB each) or links to a maximum of 4 videos. Writers can submit up to two works, each under 5000 words. Accepted artists are required to donate a 'Do-it-Yourself' text/visual instruction piece.
