  • Who Can Apply: Emerging and professional artists, writers, designers, creatives from all fields; researchers, scientists, philosophers, and psychologists in mindfulness, psychology, philosophy, anthropology, neuroscience, meditation, and related fields. Minimum age 24 (in 2027); minimum BA degree (exceptions for relevant experience). Individual applicants only.
  • The Focus: A thematic residency centered on silence, awareness, and existence, supporting creative contemplation, introspection, research, and inner development during the Finnish winter.
  • Cost: Accommodation, studio spaces, meals, meditation hall access, sauna, library, creative tools, and group activities included in residency fee (1,350–2,610 EUR/month depending on support level).
  • Key Requirements: Minimum age 24; BA degree or relevant experience; no live music/sound (headphone-based sound work welcome); individual applicants only; children and overnight guests not permitted; acknowledgment that meditation and silent days may not suit those with severe trauma or active substance addictions.

Due to program theme, live music/sound not permitted (headphone-based sound work welcome). Duos must submit two separate applications and mention the other in extra notes. Children not permitted. Overnight guests not allowed. Pets not permitted. Program may not be suitable for individuals coping with severe trauma or mental disorders; not designed for treatment or rehabilitation of alcohol or drug addictions.
