Who Can Apply: Open to international artists, writers, designers, filmmakers, musicians, and researchers from all backgrounds and career stages, including students.
The Focus: This self-directed residency allows creatives to develop personal projects at their own pace in a rural, multidisciplinary environment. The program encourages inspiration from nature, architecture, and cross-pollination between residents.
The Funding: This is a fee-based residency with costs starting at €763 per week; no direct funding or stipend is provided.
Key Requirements: Applicants must submit an online form, a CV/Portfolio, and a one-page letter of motivation via email.

Cost to attendFees range from €763 for one week to €5257 for eight weeks in a shared room. Single rooms cost an additional €240 per week.

Application notesThe application is a two-part process. First, complete the online form on the residency page. Second, email a CV/Portfolio and a one-page letter of motivation (both as PDFs) to residencies@boisbuchet.org. Accepted applicants will have a subsequent video interview with the team. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until October for the 2026 season.
