Adélard Immersion Residencies (Immersions 2027, appel à projets)
Housing: Private apartment a short walk from the barn, with a bedroom with double bed, Wi-Fi, and a washing machine and dryer in the building; offered free of charge for the six-week stay.
- Who Can Apply: Professional visual artists in any discipline, emerging or established, may apply from any country or place of residence. International participants must arrange their own Canadian entry documents.
- The Focus: Spend six weeks in Frelighsburg’s heritage barn between early May and mid-September 2027, exploring Awakening through artistic research, exhibition and community dialogue.
- The Funding: CAD 2,250 honorarium, CAD 300 per mediation activity and CAD 550 exhibition fees, plus free housing. Travel, subsistence and specialist materials/equipment are not covered.
- Key Requirements: Apply online with artistic approach/project texts (250 words each), theme/rural mission/workshop texts (150 words each), one PDF portfolio with up to 15 images and descriptive list (10 MB maximum; video links allowed), and a PDF CV (2 pages maximum).

Commit to the full stay, weekend public interaction, an end-of-residency presentation and at least one paid mediation activity.
