Analog: An Antidote to AI Art

Who Can Apply: Open to all artists; works created wholly or partially using generative AI are not eligible.
The Focus: Original artwork in all visual media that demonstrates human imagination, intuition, and authentic artistic expression; work reflecting touch, struggle, experimentation, and the distinctly human creative process.
The Funding: $1,000 first-place prize and $500 second-place prize.
Key Requirements: Submit 5–10 digital images via CaFÉ; all work must be original and created by the applicant; work must be ready to hang (framing not required); submitted images must match the works intended for exhibition; no borders or backgrounds in images.

Application notesWork must arrive at the gallery ready to hang; magnets, clips, and other methods acceptable. No size restriction, but large-scale work selection may be limited by gallery space. Physical submissions will not be reviewed; only digital images uploaded to CaFÉ are accepted. Submitted work must be available for the duration of the exhibition. Work that has been modified from the original submitted image will not be accepted.
