- Who Can Apply: U.S. citizens or permanent residents age 18+ who have lived in Cass, Crow Wing, Morrison, Todd, or Wadena County or the Leech Lake Reservation for at least six months.
- The Focus: Individual artist projects and professional development, such as materials, equipment, mentorship, workshops, portfolio production, and career advancement.
- The Funding: Up to $3,000 project/professional development grant; no match required.
- Key Requirements: Complete online application including project start and end dates, budget, artist résumé, and three to five work samples (up to 3MB each) with written descriptions.

Application notesProjects cannot begin until two weeks after board review and decision. Applications received by the first Friday of each month are reviewed at that month's Five Wings Board meeting (fourth Monday, except July and December). Applicants may only receive one FWAC individual artist grant in a two-year period.
