Who Can Apply: Current Artist members of Artists Now who are based in the UK and have a UK bank account; excluding full-time students, Arts Organiser/Student members, 2025–26 bursary recipients, and anyone who completed an undergraduate course within the 12 months before applying.
The Focus: Funding for visual artists to pursue a tailored programme of professional development activities such as training, mentoring, research, residencies, networking and specialist advice.
The Funding: Grant of £500 to £1,500; up to £500 extra for disability access requirements.
Key Requirements: Online SurveyMonkey application: description of artistic practice (100 words), proposed activities (150 words), why this is the right time (up to 150 words), amount requested and budget breakdown, activity dates between 1 February 2027 and 31 January 2028, CV (named SURNAME_FIRST NAME), link to website or online portfolio, and the Equal Opportunities monitoring form.

Application notesApply via the online SurveyMonkey form (Word version available on request for alternative formats); read the application guidance first. Access support of up to one day can be covered. Budget must not include project delivery/public programming, curatorial practice, higher education tuition fees or associated study costs, or activities directly linked to a part-time further/higher education course; applications depending on unsecured funding are not eligible, and no single cost may exceed 50% of the request. Bursary activities must take place between 1 February 2027 and 31 January 2028. Decisions by 31 December 2026; recipients complete a Bursary Update Form by 29 February 2028.
