- The Focus: Arts activities including creating new work, professional or skills development, mentoring, residencies, and community arts and cultural development and engagement.
- The Funding: Grants of $500 to $5,000.
- Key Requirements: Submit an application through the online artsACT grants portal at least six weeks before the activity start date; read the Arts Activities Guidelines and contact artsACT to discuss the proposal.

Application notesApplications must be submitted via the online artsACT grants portal (SmartyGrants). Read the Arts Activities Guidelines and FAQs and speak with artsACT staff before applying (phone 6207 2384 or email artsACT@act.gov.au; 15-minute phone/Teams appointments available). Applications are assessed by artsACT staff. A recording of the 12 February 2026 information session is available. Larger requests go to the separate $5–50k category (two rounds per year).
