Application notesApplications accepted year-round via email to info@artsitoya.com. Applicants may share links to artist statement, resume, or proposal instead of attaching files. Program founded in 2018 by Studio Kura (long-running residence program in Fukuoka Prefecture). Organized activities include tours around Takeo during first week, Japanese craft workshops (washi, bonsai, tea ceremony) in second week, and exhibitions with opening party and artist talk on final weekend. Takeo Onsen Station is approximately 800 meters from Arts Itoya. Accessible by hourly limited express trains from Fukuoka's Hakata Station (approximately 70 minutes, around 2,800 JPY one way).
