Goldsmiths' Centre Business Catalyst (Small) Grants
- Who Can Apply: UK residents on the pathway to self-employment or running a micro-business in the jewellery, silversmithing or allied industries, with a UK trading address and UK bank account, who have completed or undertaken a formal mentoring, business consultancy or business diagnostic programme in the past 12 months.
- The Focus: Support to grow a jewellery or silversmithing business by funding essential equipment, marketing tools or specialist knowledge.
- The Funding: £2,000 grant per business (including VAT), up to 10 grants per year; funds must be used within 12 months.
- Key Requirements: Online form (up to 30 minutes): details of mentoring/consultancy undertaken, two answers of no more than 400 words, list of key activities and costs, two forms of ID (name and address), a professional reference emailed by the deadline, end-of-year accounts if the business is over 1 year old, 5 images of work (max 16MB each), and a completed anonymous EDI survey.
