Housing: Carefully restored traditional village home with private bedrooms (one en-suite, one with shared bathroom), shared kitchen, dining area, garden, and terraces
- Who Can Apply: Open to artists, writers, photographers, musicians, performers, researchers and interdisciplinary cultural practitioners.
- The Focus: Artistic research, reflection, creation and exchange in dialogue with the ancient Bylis landscape and local community.
- Cost: Participation costs €300 per week and includes accommodation, breakfast, dinner, and one transfer from Tirana to Hekal.
- Key Requirements: Short CV, project proposal (1–2 pages), work samples, preferred residency dates, and a short motivation statement.

Application notesMaximum of three residents at a time. Selection based primarily on artistic quality, motivation and relevance of proposed project to residency environment. Residents are invited to engage with community through informal presentation, workshop, conversation or reading, while remaining free to develop their own creative practice. No prescribed outcome—residents may leave with finished project, new questions, unexpected collaborations, or renewed curiosity.
