Call to Artists: Overlook Park Public Mural
- Who Can Apply: Professional mural artists or artist teams residing in Placer, Nevada, or El Dorado Counties, California. Preference points are given to Placer County applicants.
- The Focus: Permanent exterior mural on the Overlook Park restroom facility in Auburn, responding to the American River Canyon setting and Auburn's outdoor recreation culture.
- Compensation: $18,000 total project budget, all-inclusive (labor, paint, materials, sealant, equipment, insurance), paid in three installments of 33%, 33% and 34%. No proposal or finalist stipend.
- Key Requirements: A single PDF proposal (max 10 MB) uploaded through the online form, with design concept narrative and sketch including both L-shaped entrance privacy walls, itemized budget, team and key personnel credentials, proposed work schedule and weather contingency plan guaranteeing completion by April 5, 2027, 3-5 high-resolution photos of past outdoor murals, contact information for 2 professional references, and a written insurance and legal rights acknowledgment.
