Application notesApply online through the Center's Submittable portal (a free Submittable account is required; the form opens after you sign in and click Continue). Applications opened September 18, 2026 and close Sunday, October 25, 2026 at 11:59 PM. Your proposed project must involve collaboration with an advocacy organization during its development and/or execution; the partner does not need to be secured at the time of application, and the Center can help connect fellows to advocates. Individual artists only. The public guidelines do not list the required materials (work samples, statements, word limits), so check the form itself after logging in. A virtual Q&A was held on September 24, 2026; the cohort is announced publicly on January 12, 2027. Questions: outreach@thecenter.art.
