Housing: Private cottage with 1 bedroom/1 bath, full kitchen, shared yard access, 5-minute walk to downtown Evergreen
  • Who Can Apply: Open to emerging and established artists working across all disciplines and media (visual artists, sculptors, musicians, writers, filmmakers, and more) based anywhere in the world
  • The Focus: Foster creativity and community engagement while developing new works and works-in-progress; includes required public component engaging the local community
  • The Funding: $750 stipend ($250/month) upon completion; housing, private studio space, paid teaching/workshop opportunities, exhibition space, and artist website page provided
  • Key Requirements: Residency plan, public component plan, two letters of recommendation, website, CV/résumé, short bio, artist statement, 7-10 work samples (images/video from past 3 years), $40 application fee via SlideRoom

Application notesArtist cottage has strict no-smoking policy inside; pets not allowed. Cottage located 5 minutes walk from Downtown Evergreen and Evergreen Lake; 10-minute drive to artist studio; 25 minutes from Red Rocks Amphitheater. All residents must develop and facilitate a community program related to their residency plan. ADA compliant campus; partially accessible housing (50% or more); accessibility accommodations available including communication before arrival, written materials, colored paper, audio description, staff reading information aloud, staff providing directions and guidance. Caregiver/aide/PCA housing not available. Meals not provided.
