City of Ghent Project Subsidies for Art, Culture and Cultural Heritage — Small Projects
- Who Can Apply: Open to non-profit legal entities, de facto associations and natural persons; the project must take place mainly in Ghent and be publicly accessible (physical or digital).
- The Focus: Cultural, artistic or cultural-heritage projects in Ghent.
- The Funding: Up to €3,000; may cover up to 100% of accepted costs (individuals may claim up to 20% as a personal artistic fee).
- Key Requirements: Completed application form plus a small-project budget

Application notesApply online via the city's Smartloket portal or use the downloadable application form. The subsidised amount is paid in two instalments: 90% after approval and 10% after the final control. Keep the original supporting documents for 1 year for possible inspection.
Post-selection obligations: earlier recipients of €25,000+ in total subsidies must also submit balance sheet, annual accounts and management report.
