Cork City Council Artist and the Community Award
- Who Can Apply: Professional artists practising community, socially engaged, collaborative, youth and/or participatory arts, working with Cork-based community groups (arts organisations cannot be the lead applicant)
- The Focus: Artistic projects where professional artists work with community groups in Cork city
- The Funding: Up to €2,000 (Research & Development) or up to €10,000 (Project Realisation)
- Key Requirements: Online application via the Submit platform; C.V.s of the lead artist and key personnel; examples of previous work; evidence of support and letters of support from the Community Group; 30% match funding for Project Realisation

AwardThe lead artist receives up to €2,000 for Research & Development or up to €10,000 for Project Realisation; Realisation needs 30% match funding, and benefit-in-kind counts. Personal access costs of up to 20% of the award can be added.

Application notesApply online through Cork City Council's Submit platform; after submitting, confirm the submission through the verification link emailed to you before the deadline. The 14 October 2026 cut-off for arranging an audio application has passed. Personal access costs of up to 20% of the award can be requested on top of the award.
