  • Who Can Apply: Open to international artists 18 years or older with original work completed in the last two years
  • The Focus: Contemporary fine craft in basketry, ceramics, fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, paper, wearable art, wood, and CAD/CAM or 3D-printed works
  • The Funding: $12,000+ in prize awards presented by jurors
  • Key Requirements: Submit up to 2 works with 1–3 JPG images per piece (1200+ pixels, under 5 MB); work must be original, for sale, and completed after January 1, 2024; no prior exhibition at Wayne Art Center

Application notesWork must be shipped via FedEx or UPS with prepaid return-shipping label enclosed; no work will be exhibited without a prepaid label. Crates/boxes cannot exceed 74"H × 35"W × 55"L and 100 lbs; straight trucks only (max 24'). All work must remain on display for entire exhibition duration. Withdrawal prior to exhibition results in exclusion from WAC the following year. Work previously exhibited at Wayne Art Center is ineligible. Collaborative works accepted. Work derivative of other artists or created in a workshop with instructor aid is not eligible. All work must be for sale; NFS/POR submissions not accepted. Sale price submitted on entry form must remain unchanged throughout show. Hand-delivered work not retrieved by March 2, 2027 becomes WAC property. For international work, review country-of-origin shipping/customs regulations and US customs requirements.
