Arts Council of Wales Create and Engage
- Who Can Apply: Individual artists and creative freelancers aged over 18 who live in Wales, are not in full-time education and are pursuing an artistic career in Wales (organisations based in Wales or elsewhere in the UK can also apply).
- The Focus: Development, creation and delivery of public-facing arts experiences across creation, presentation, programming/touring and community participation (training is for organisations only).
- The Funding: Awards up to £10,000 (Small) or £10,001 - £60,000 (Large); max 90% of eligible project costs funded, with at least 10% from other sources.
- Key Requirements: A completed online application form with a project budget (template provided) and supporting attachments; projects must be time-limited, take place mainly in Wales, involve at least one partner, and show 10% match funding.

Application notesSmall Create & Engage has no deadline but requires a minimum of ten working weeks between submission and project start. Large Create & Engage requires a minimum of twelve working weeks between the deadline and project start. Projects already happening cannot be funded; applications must be complete and no further supporting information is accepted after submission unless requested. Applicants can only apply to one fund at a time and unsuccessful applicants may reapply once for the same project. Access support is available, including large print, braille, audio, Easy Read and British Sign Language.
