Application notesApply through PLRAC's online grant system (Applicant Login / grantinterface.com), registering as an individual artist. Projects must be shared with the public: grantees must hold a public-facing class or event, and community members rather than the applicant must be the primary beneficiaries. Art created predominantly with AI, degree/licensure coursework, and strictly commercial products are ineligible. Individuals may receive this PLRAC funding every other year (FY2026 recipients are ineligible in FY2027). Applications are encouraged in the language the applicant is most comfortable with. Post-selection obligations: grantees must hold a public-facing class or event and submit a final report.
