UTS Library Creative in Residence 2027
- Who Can Apply: Creatives of any discipline with current Australian work rights and a current Working With Children Check; no UTS affiliation required.
- The Focus: A six-month residency (approx. March–September 2027) at UTS Library, Sydney, creating work that activates the Library's collection, spaces and culture and engages its community.
- The Funding: AU$15,000 remuneration (covering time, travel, accommodation and superannuation) plus a separate AU$5,000 materials budget.
- Key Requirements: Email one PDF (max 10MB) to Mia.Turner@uts.edu.au with a 1-page project description, examples of recent work (2–10 works, max 10 images), optional links, and CV plus short bio (max 2 pages combined).

Application notesEmail one PDF (max 10MB) to Mia.Turner@uts.edu.au by 5pm Monday 26 October 2026 (the news page says 'October 2027', but the Key dates section and Info Pack both give 26 October 2026). Include a 1-page project description, 2–10 works (max 10 images; stills or links for non-visual media), optional links, and CV plus short bio (max 2 pages). The resident must be on site at least once a week for 16 weeks (8 in Autumn, 8 in Spring). Small-group tours of the spaces can be booked by emailing Mia (1, 8 and 15 October). Successful applicant notified early/late November 2026.
