Delaware County Arts Grant — Community Arts Grants
- Who Can Apply: Delaware County 501(c)(3) nonprofits may apply directly. Individual artists, groups and collectives (18+, Delaware County address) may apply only through a Delaware County 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor or with a Delaware County Community Partner.
- The Focus: Public, community-based arts and cultural projects in Delaware County: exhibitions, workshops, performances, festivals, screenings or readings that are open and accessible to all.
- The Funding: $1,500 to $7,500 per applicant, with a required 10% match in cash or in-kind.
- Key Requirements: Attend a mandatory information session; online application with budget; links to documentation of previous work or events; proof of Delaware County residency; a signed Letter of Commitment from the Community Partner, or a Letter of Fiscal Sponsorship plus the sponsor's nonprofit documents.

Application notesOnline application opens October 17, 2026; the link will be on roxburyartsgroup.org under the 'Opportunities' menu. Incomplete or handwritten applications are not reviewed. Every applicant must first attend a Grant Information Session (Zoom or in person; the last one is January 16, 2027). Individual artists cannot apply alone in this category: apply through a Delaware County-based 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor, or with a Delaware County-based Community Partner (an established local organisation or group, with or without 501(c)(3) status; you may not sit on its board; LLCs and direct NYSCA applicants cannot be partners). Required with a Community Partner: proof of Delaware County residency (NYS driver's license, ID, utility or telephone bill, mortgage or deed) and a Letter of Commitment on the partner's letterhead, signed by the head or a board member of the organisation and by the applicant, describing each party's roles and responsibilities. Required with a fiscal sponsor: the sponsor's 501(c)(3) IRS determination letter, current NY State Bureau of Charities filing receipt, list of board members, mission statement and most recent complete annual financial report, plus a Letter of Fiscal Sponsorship naming the applicant. All applicants: links to video clips, photography, articles or videos of previous events (required; the guidelines give no number or length limit); a budget breakdown showing the grant request, how the funds will be spent and at least 10% of funding from other sources; and an alternative plan in case of partial funding. Limits: one applicant may submit up to 3 requests across the three categories, combined maximum $7,500; administrative costs may be at most 25% of the budget; no single item over $1,000; no equipment purchases or out-of-state travel. Optional staff draft review: send the draft link between November 7, 2026 and January 16, 2027. Projects must take place in Delaware County and be completed by December 31, 2027; a final report is due within 30 days of the final event or by December 31, 2027, whichever is sooner.
