Application notesOnline application opens October 17, 2026; the link will be on roxburyartsgroup.org under the 'Opportunities' menu. Incomplete or handwritten applications are not reviewed. Every applicant must first attend a Grant Information Session (Zoom or in person; the last one is January 16, 2027). A teaching artist cannot apply without a partner: the application needs a Letter of Commitment describing in detail the support of the partner school and/or organisation and each party's roles and responsibilities, signed by the organisation's head or the school principal (no exceptions). Individual artists must also give proof of Delaware County residency (NYS driver's license, ID, utility or telephone bill, mortgage or deed). If applying through a fiscal sponsor instead: the sponsor's 501(c)(3) IRS determination letter, NY State Bureau of Charities filing receipt, board list, mission statement, most recent annual financial report and a Letter of Fiscal Sponsorship. The project description must show at least three sequential skill-based sessions in one or more art forms, in-depth age- and skill-appropriate learning, hands-on participatory work, stated learning goals, methodologies and outcomes, and a means of evaluation. Also required: links to video clips, photography, articles or videos of previous events (the guidelines give no number or length limit) and a budget breakdown showing the grant request, how funds will be spent and at least 10% of funding from other sources. Limits: one applicant may submit up to 3 requests across the three categories, combined maximum $7,500; administrative costs may be at most 25% of the budget; no single item over $1,000; no equipment purchases or out-of-state travel. Optional staff draft review: send the draft link between November 7, 2026 and January 16, 2027. Projects must take place in Delaware County and be completed by December 31, 2027; a final report is due within 30 days of the final event or by December 31, 2027, whichever is sooner.
