DRAC Hauts-de-France Circulations Artist Residency at GAPAS – « Le quartier »
Housing: No housing available from the host (accommodation costs may be covered from the host's €3,000 residency-cost contribution)
- Who Can Apply: A professional artist in dance, circus, or cinema and audiovisual (creative work as their main, regular activity). In practice France-based: the residency is in French and paid through French employment (the artist budgets their remuneration as total employer cost under French artist status).
- The Focus: A 6-week full-time Circulations residency between 27 September and 5 December 2027 across two GAPAS establishments for adults with disabilities (the Foyer d'Hébergement in Roubaix and the MAS Le Hameau in Hantay), on the theme « Le quartier »: encounter through a sensitive artistic gesture, participatory reflection, and links between residents, staff and neighbours.
- The Funding: The artist receives a flat residency fee of €4,500 net for the 6-week residency (paid via the host establishment with DRAC and ARS Hauts-de-France funding; total employer cost capped at €9,000). The host establishment also contributes up to €3,000 toward residency costs, which can include the artist's accommodation, per diems (meals and nights), travel, small materials and communication. No housing is provided by the host.
