eremuak Open Call for Artwork Production (Convocatoria continua)
- Who Can Apply: Individual artists and collectives with tax residence in the European Union may submit contemporary-art proposals from, about or for the Basque Country. Groups must designate an individual representative; no particular contemporary-art practice is prioritized.
- The Focus: Produce experimental or propositional contemporary artwork connected to the Basque Country through an ongoing open call. Selected projects must be developed and completed within one year of notification.
- The Funding: Production budgets may not exceed €4,000; the commission determines each award, so this is not a guaranteed grant amount. Support covers approved project costs, including applicable VAT and artist fees assessed by the commission.
- Key Requirements: Register and submit the online form with participant IDs, CVs, proposal dossier, five previous-work images or other relevant material, detailed income/expense budget and other funding plans. Collectives need a signed representative designation; applicants outside Spain need a tax-residence certificate.
