- Who Can Apply: Visual artists, collaborative teams and artist groups in all media and genres except performance art, who reside in King County, WA; applicants may not be represented by a commercial gallery, and current 4Culture board, advisory committee, and staff (and their business partners/immediate family) are ineligible.
- The Focus: Solo, collaborative and group exhibition proposals for contemporary art in 4Culture's Seattle gallery.
- The Funding: Selected artists receive a $2,000 honorarium plus curatorial direction and communications/PR support.
- Key Requirements: Online application (apply.4culture.org) with demographic information and profile contact; two-page artist résumé as PDF under 2 MB; proposal statement up to 300 words; 10 work samples (7 digital JPG images, 1920 pixels longest side suggested; up to 3 publicly accessible video/audio URLs via SoundCloud, Vimeo or YouTube, cumulative 3 minutes) with per-sample descriptions up to 75 words.
