- Who Can Apply: Massachusetts artists, culture bearers, and creative practitioners 18 or older who are full-year MA residents for 2026 through June 2027, are not full-time undergraduates or graduate arts students, and did not receive a GCI grant in 2024, 2025, or 2026.
- The Focus: Unrestricted grant support for individual creative practice across all artistic and cultural disciplines.
- The Funding: $5,000 unrestricted grant; 400-500 grants expected.
- Key Requirements: Eligibility quiz, personal information, a brief narrative (1,500 characters/2 minutes or less), 1–5 total work samples (minutes/pages/image files, in-progress or completed within the last five years), and funding-priority questions; submit online through Mass Cultural Council's grants management system.
