Specific residency application requirements may change from year to year but are released at the beginning of September. Residents granted leave during residency; children allowed for full stay. Collaborative residencies: must apply and be accepted individually but may apply as a team. Average number of artists in residence at a time: 2. Accessibility accommodations include pre-orientation, manual/handbook before arrival, communication before arrival to discuss accommodations/medical conditions/health needs, orientation upon arrival, contact information for programs/events/campus, full description of accessibility on campus, use of colored paper for printed materials, high contrast/clear way-finding and signage, accessible seating, staff/volunteer reading information aloud, staff/volunteer giving directions, staff/volunteer providing guidance to locate facilities/activities, contact info for accessibility requests. Caregiver/aide/PCA housing available on campus; local arrangements coordinated by resident; case-by-case consideration by staff. Partially wheelchair accessible campus; almost all spaces including studios and housing are accessible.
