  • Who Can Apply: Professional artists and artist teams throughout Florida working in mural, graphic design, environmental graphics, illustration, painting, mixed media, or related disciplines; City employees, Public Art Advisory Board members, selection panel members, and their immediate family or business partners are not eligible.
  • The Focus: Design an original public artwork to be reproduced onto the specialty windscreen fabric around the pickleball courts at Hagen Park.
  • Compensation: Up to $20,000 all-inclusive project budget; the artist's portion covers creation and design only.
  • Key Requirements: Professional résumé; artist statement; letter of interest describing approach; three to five examples of completed public art, graphic, mural, environmental graphic, or comparable projects; three professional references; quote for services with project completion schedule; preliminary concept sketch with vision statement; submitted via the City of Wilton Manors online form.

Application notesArtwork generated wholly or substantially through AI will not be accepted. The court-facing side of the windscreen will remain a neutral color. Shortlisted artists may be invited to prepare conceptual proposals and participate in an interview. Incomplete applications will not be considered. The City reserves the right to reject any or all submissions and to modify the project schedule.
