  • Who Can Apply: Graduates and final-year students from South Australia's partner universities (Adelaide University, Flinders University, University of Adelaide, University of South Australia) in eligible creative disciplines; graduates eligible for up to five years from completion of study.
  • The Focus: Ambitious, self-directed projects that advance artistic and professional development, including creation of new work, exhibitions, performances, residencies, internships, touring, recording, specialised training, and long-term professional development.
  • The Funding: Up to $7,500 per fellowship (three fellowships available).
  • Key Requirements: Artist CV, official academic transcript, project budget (using Helpmann template), project timeline, project confirmation/acceptances from collaborators/venues, two letters of support (from lecturer and industry professional on official letterhead), images/audio-visual demos, responses to four application questions (artist bio and practice, detailed proposal description, career development rationale, boldness/ambition of project), and optional additional support materials.

Application notesApplicants must currently reside in South Australia. Final-year applicants may apply only for activity occurring after their studies are complete. Masters and PhD candidates or graduates are not eligible unless they still qualify through undergraduate or directly following honours study. Applicants are notified within four weeks of closing; shortlisted applicants may be interviewed.
