Housing: Shared studio space provided for residency participants
  • Who Can Apply: Queer and allied artists, organizations, and communities internationally; COLLECTIVO members and past IMMORTAL 2025 participants apply fee-free
  • The Focus: An artist-led exhibition platform held during Día de Muertos that gathers queer artists to stand with memory as inheritance, emphasizing proximity, collaboration, and community infrastructure
  • Cost: Entry fee $20 USD (includes 3 pieces, $5 per additional piece); residency contribution starts at 6,000 MXN; flexible pricing available; local Mexican artists may participate without fees
  • Key Requirements: Artist statement (300 words max), 3 work samples, artwork details and pricing, short bio, desired spatial needs, confirmed availability Oct 20–26

Application notesIMMORTAL is not a traditional booth fair but a collaboratively produced exhibition platform where every project and participation plan is developed individually. Three areas of participation may be selected individually or combined: IMMORTAL Residency (Oct 1–26), The Queer Vault (print/small-works exhibition), and IMMORTAL 2.0 Art Fair (Oct 23–25, install Oct 20–22, deinstall Oct 26). The Queer Vault displays prints, photographs, drawings, zines, publications, and small-scale works in a retail-style browsing experience. COLLECTIVO members and past IMMORTAL 2025 participants should contact Micheal Swank for discount codes.
