Kunstraad Groningen Impulsregeling (Artistic Development Impulse Grant)

- Who Can Apply: Groningen artists, beginners or advanced, who want to boost their artistic development; not eligible if already receiving multi-year municipal/provincial Groningen support or if the activity already took place.
- The Focus: An artist-development subsidy for activities such as master-apprentice trajectories, coaching, artist-in-residence stays, cross-disciplinary brainstorms, or experimenting with new techniques.
- The Funding: Up to €2,500 covering up to 100% of costs (incl. VAT); annual budget €75,000 split over four rounds.
- Key Requirements: Short activity description (paper or max 3-minute video) explaining the contribution to artistic development, a financial breakdown, an artist CV, and proof of residence/place of business; application in Dutch via the Mijn Kunstraad portal.

Application notesApply online via the Mijn Kunstraad portal; the application must be in Dutch and the activity must take place within six months after the round's closing date (activities that already happened are ineligible). Four rounds per year (2026: 1 March, 1 June, 1 September, 22 November; 2027: 1 March, 1 June, 1 September, 15 November). Decisions within four weeks of the closing date; awards are published on the Kunstraad website. Grantees submit a short publishable evaluation within four weeks after the activity.
